Virtualization is one common scenario which customers will wanted to implement in their environment for better infrastructure. This will provide cloud a like infrastructure where their sensitive data will reside in the on-premises server or machines.
Let’s say there is a financial organization where they wanted to utilize cloud services but not wanted to have their data reside on their network, then it is best to choose this Azure HCI infrastructure. Where the services that are available in cloud can be utilized using the Windows Gateway server from the virtual machine. This VM will act as a bridge between on-premises server and cloud services. The
Data centre VM which is part of this setup will help in enabling the Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), where the containerized image can be installed for the required software.
Since AKS is used, this can be clustered architecture where it makes sure the services are always highly available. Hence high availability is achieved. We have implemented the same architecture in one of the places where we have a success story.
